Hi. Am R.Durgalaxmi. I completed my B.Tech Biotechnology this year. Am going to give my GRE on october 14th. I want to know if I can pursue a dual degree in Biotechnology with MS and MBA. Will I be able to get aid? Is there any drawback if we apply for PhD and then terminate with MS and go ahead with Management studies related to biotechnology? What is the scenario for getting jobs if such a dual degree is practically possible? Please guide me.

I think most of will not allow this or there is no such provision for doing this thing in most of universities. so, you will have to decide whatever you want to do.

Will there be any drawback if I terminate with MS after applying for integrated PhD? I heard someone saying that we can do so and even switch over courses in the university. Do enlighten me regarding this, if you know some info abt this. Thanks.

If you have enrolled for PhD, then most of the universities do not allow you to terminate with MS. However, if you are able to produce some genuine reason for not being able to continue with PhD after MS, then university may allow you.

Also, there is no drawback in quitting after M.S.
